Free Buffet Breakfast

Sunday, May 19, 2019, 8:00-10:15am

Every third Sunday, between September and May, Christ Lutheran Church offers members and guests a full-course breakfast between 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. The breakfast includes scrambled eggs, sausage, French toast, pancakes, potatoes, fruit, cereal, baked goods, and beverages. The meal is offered at no charge, but donations are welcome.
The idea of the monthly breakfasts was initiated several years ago by Lee Wagner and Dale Hazel. They quickly recruited a spirited crew of cooks and assistants who arrive at 7 a.m. to prepare the breakfasts. Members of the crew include Lee and Dale, Lou Savant, Chris Myers, Kurt Rank, Kevin Gough, Mark Stana, Tim Feather, Matt Sterner, and Dave Willard.
Come and enjoy a delicious breakfast along with worship and adult education on Sunday, May 19. This is the last breakfast that will be served before the summer break. It’s the perfect time to invite friends to experience the faith, food, and fellowship at Christ Lutheran.
A big “thank you” from the breakfast guys for the congregation’s attendance and support!

Contemplative Prayer and Meditation

First Wednesday of the Month, 7-7:45pm held in a circle at the altar. A service of contemplation, introspection, and listening. Looking for a break from our fast-paced world? Quiet time to reflect on a reading from scripture and listen to what others hear from those readings. This service is designed as a service of silence, light, contemplation, and reflection. It’s not your typical Lutheran Worship service.
